Hello and welcome to Love Your Placenta! If you’re expecting a baby (congratulations!) and looking for ways to support your postnatal journey, you’ve come to the right place!
Placenta encapsulation has experienced a recent surge in popularity and for very good reason! The placenta is rich in nutrients and vitamins, including:
Oxytocin, known as the ‘love hormone’. Oxytocin is a major player in birth and breastfeeding, and is responsible for the contractions that birth the baby and placenta and reduce bleeding afterwards
Stem cells and growth factors, essential for repairing and replacing our damaged cells
Iron, needed to carry oxygen around the body
Prolactin, which supports milk production and supply.
Placenta remedies have been credited by mothers to have:
Reduced their postnatal bleeding
Increased, supported and maintained milk supply
Improved their energy levels
Balanced their hormones, reducing or preventing the baby blues and postnatal depression
Reduced stress levels
Improved their skin, hair and nails.

ABOUT US & ENCAPSULATION
The benefits of Placenta Encapsulation
My name is Jade, I’m a midwife and mum of two. I work both in the NHS and independently at The Village Midwives, with some wonderful ladies who are just as passionate as me about providing a wide range of services and choice to women and their families.
I first became aware of placenta encapsulation when pregnant with my daughter. After reading up on the numerous amazing benefits, I knew it was something I needed to do- I mean, who wouldn’t want more energy, increased milk supply and a boost in mood! Luckily, a friend had recently completed her training, and was able to very quickly turn my placenta into these wonderful capsules, the whole process took less than 48hrs! I honestly felt great after the birth, I didn’t experience the ‘baby blues’, I had established breastfeeding within 3 days, and I raved about the benefits to anyone who would listen!
So when I was pregnant with my son, it was a no-brainer that I would do it again! But this time I started to look into how I could help other new mums reap the benefits. Once I found out about IPEN’s training programme I knew this was the next path for me! I’m now fully trained to give other mums the opportunity to experience the benefits of placenta encapsulation.
I’m fully insured with BGI UK, and have certifications in Food Safety, Infection Control and HACCP. I’m also registered with South Holland County Council.

Where We Cover
Love Your Placenta is based in the quiet village of Quadring, near Spalding. We cover an hour’s radius of here, which includes Boston, Peterborough, Kings Lynn and Lincoln hospitals (and surrounding areas for home birthers!). Please message to discuss if you’d like us to travel further to you.
Jade is lovely and makes the process really smooth and easy for my husband to sort out while I was still in hospital. The capsules were hand delivered really fast and I still have some nearly five weeks on. I suppose I'll never know if it was the capsules as I had them after both pregnancies but I have not suffered from PND and have felt well despite the sleep deprivation! If there is ever a baby no3 I would not hesitate to use Jade again.
I decided to go for it and have my placenta encapsulated and it was the best decision I made. I gave birth at 6am and Jade was there in Peterborough to collect at 10am on the dot!! Communication is fabulous, service is great and Jade is a lovely lady. Definitely look into the benefits of this, certainly pleased I did!!"
‘Without a doubt the best postpartum recovery investment! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Placenta capsules!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 I’m pretty sure that I owe the speed of my recovery to these babies!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼’
I’d highly highly recommend anyone consider having their placenta encapsulated. It’s a super easy process, Jade took any hassle out of it for us by supplying the bag and boxes. She came and collected my placenta from the hospital for us, took it away and dropped the capsules back 2 days later! 🙌🏼🙏🏼
